There are some ways to win
The primal games we’re in
I’m bleeding out the toxin
Waiting for the curtain
Where white and black collide
Ground one foot either side
You’re bleeding out your options
No more words of caution
Back when I thought I was
Built that way, just because
I’m walled inside a garden
Deep within an ocean
Inject ideas with life
Through fear and not despite
I’m bleeding out my options
Bleeding all the options
Oh you better believe
The shadow haunting me
It knows what I could be
I can see
The serpents inside me
Contorting, warping me
Finally
No matter, time dethrones
Oh speak to me you stones!
I’m so tired of waiting
For the bloated and deceptive
Where black and white collide
Speak truth reveal the line
I’m bleeding out my options
Bleeding all the options
A cure to shame the disease
The shadow haunting me
It knows what I could be
Silently
The serpents inside me
Contorting, warping me
Finally, I believe
The Watchers gathered in the sky
When you sink in the quicksand of the night
Persevere ‘cause I know we’ll be alright
Cling to me and my scars that prove it all
Don’t let the curtain fall
You ignite in the fever of the day
Knowing smile ‘cause we’ll make it anyway
Cling to me and my scars that prove it all
Don’t let the curtain fall
